About Me
This is my portfolio of concepts. Each series is an investigation of numerous possibilities; into a new world or environment, a twist on an old concpet, the redesign of classic canon. It's a celebration of ideas, and having the ability to communicate them is the heart of why I love to illustrate.
Monster Series 1
Simple concept "quickies" taking no longer than two to four hours from concept to finish. I am experimenting with traditional Japanese folklore with a modern anime style.Each piece is skectched and painted in Adobe Photoshop CS3 using a cintique.
Bone Daddy Concepts
My collection of concepts for the house-created comic "Bone Daddy", centering around a skeleton in the future that builds spaceships.Most pieces are drawn with graphite and colored in photoshop, usually no longer than 1-2 hours per sketch/color.
